Anybody have any good ones they want to share with me? I'm running out of things to cook for me and my picky fiancee! Well, there's always corn beef n cabbage...As long as you don't mind sleeping in seperate rooms...In some cases better make it seperate neighborhoods...

Heres a good one ...with a touch of Irish Whiskey for flavour Irish Whiskey Potato Green Chile Stew Ingredients 1/2 cup olive oil 2 Tbsp chopped garlic 2 cups chopped Spanish onions 2 fresh jalapenos, sliced 1/2 Tbsp. salt 1 Tbsp black pepper 1 Tbsp oregano 1 pound lamb stew meat, cut into 1/2 inch cubes 2 shots Jameson Irish Whiskey 8 new potatoes, cut into bite-size pieces 4 cups chopped green chiles 2 cups chopped tomatoes 8 cups beef broth Instructions Saute garlic, onions, and jalapenos in the olive oil. Add the salt, black pepper, and oregano. Cook until the onions are clear, about 10 minutes. Add the lamb and brown for 10 minutes more. Add the whiskey and potatoes. Stir for another 10 minutes. Add the green chiles and tomatoes. Stir until all the ingredients are mixed together and warmed through. Add the beef broth and simmer for 1 -1/2 hrs. Serve with hot flour tortillas. Yield: 6 to 8 servings

Now I have to bribe a 21+ year old to go buy me Irish whiskey to add!!! ahahha. Maybe I can make it without whiskey? Im not a huge fan of alcohol.
(I know, I know, Irish/Scot/German girl doesnt like alcohol. sue me! *wink*)

Ahhhhhhhhh....wanting a gr8 soup...ok..heres one...i have made it and it tastes great.....yummmyyyyyyyyy Harvest Pumpkin Soup INGREDIENTS 2 small sugar pumpkin 710 ml chicken stock 180 ml heavy whipping cream 0.8 g ground nutmeg 0.4 g ground sage 9 g salt 60 g sour cream DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C). Cut pumpkins in half and scoop out seeds. Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray. Place pumpkins, flesh side down on the cookie sheet and roast until soft to the touch, about 45 minutes. Remove pumpkins from oven and let cool. Once pumpkins are cool scrape flesh from skins into a food processor. Discard skins. Add chicken stock to the pumpkin and puree. Pour soup into a large saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Stir in cream, nutmeg, sage and salt. Mix well and remove from heat. Serve garnished with a dollop of sour cream... PREP TIME 10 Min COOK TIME 1 Hr READY IN 2 Hrs 30 Min
